I mean, Chirico knows he's basically immune to bullets since Roots, but he never really shows it and the revelation that he indeed is a PS and not just a regular dude who's good at piloting ATs shakes him in the TV series.

Green space baby has to be Chirico, because otherwise it's just a weird and completely irrelevant sequence.

The OVAs are pretty but the story in them seems all kinds of fucked. I prefer to think about TV as the only canon, it really is a great self-contained story with arcs, twists, character development etc.
