I don't like anime (sh)art either, in fact it fucking sucks. For example, I would like Octoboy's art a lot better if he removed the anime influence -- it definitely has a lot of potential to improve if he did such.
The general "anime" style itself just seems really retarded and clunky, and it irks me that so many artists use it.
It's like everyone's trying to draw fucking anime...not just artists with actual skill..*sigh*
