Assuming that neuroscience is correct when it says that the brain is pretty much a biological VR headset of some kind, and that what we see is some sort of simulation hallucinated by our brains trying to make sense of the world... What happens after we die? Are astral bodies a thing? Do we get to see the "source code" for life? Or is there a big fucking nothing in between this experience and the next? Like exiting one car and getting into another?

How the heck am I supposed to be happy as an "individual self" (ego)?
