Well, OCD's symptoms are disturbing intrusive thoughts like the thought of murdering or having sex with family members or killing your dog. The distress comes from the user panicking and distressing over it as they actually do not want to do that no where near schizophrenia. Also schizophrenia is a mental illness (pathology of the mind) and OCD is a disorder (person functions but just pointed in the wrong direction). Disorders can still function its just an impairment. Unfortunately though we've seen a massive spike for some reason in these disorders in the last 10 years
