Nene could be Apollo. It could happen. You can write it. You can make it work. But to suggest that it's LIKELY, given everything we've been presented with in the narrative, is an extreme stretch, that requires headcanon and minimizing established elements of her character (e.g, she's a terrible fucking liar). All the while you have to bank on being able to convey all of this within a couple of chapters to make the reveal work, while praying to whatever shinto god inhabits the local shrine that your reader base doesn't get furious with the red herrings you've built up so thoroughly proving to be exactly that.
