It's why I'm glad its getting removed. (Sure, people will make alternatives, but I doubt there will be a big centralized one.) People who heavily relied on mare codes were getting lazy with creativity and it showed either in their bio or a few replies in. It got even worse when ChatGPT got pulled up on the scene.

It's why I stopped roleplaying for the most part after the pandemic. All because people turned roleplaying into "hey, you wanna cybersex and send me nudes?" No one, except for a small minority, in XIV really cares for genuine roleplaying anymore.
