If you played all of BoC, you would know that there's two ghosts, the real ghost Eva and the fake ghost made by Takumi's guilt, the real ghost Eva was talking to Dalh'xia and V'ehxness to make them go away.

Pretty sure that’s an actor with the same name, but he also did Retsnom. Guy seems to like/be good at making the characters suffer.
Actually putting it like that made me have to think what makes it different from say Slasher since that also has most everyone die and suffer. But I guess the characters at least seemed happier/in a better state of mind than in BoC?

I kind of acted like a story lock for my friend lol I found out he was doing BoC before Slasher and I felt that doing so would make slasher more boring so I thankfully convinced him to abort. Helps that he made the wrong choice and ended up in the for real Eva ghost route so he would’ve had to start over anyways lol.
Also got him to do KG even though he didn’t want to do anything not required by the locks but I mentioned it’s heavily spoiled by the lock route anyways so should definitely check it out. I left it up to chance but he did manage to get Zombies before Killer too.

At least with Box of Calamity there’s crazy things going on that have the characters react in different ways. Hiruko making the dumbest decision ever does stand out though, but stuff like Gaku leaning into the spiritual stuff didn’t feel too out of character and then Nozomi and Shouma have certain other reasons for acting certain ways. Only route we get to see another Ima freak out which was interesting and definitely not ooc. Lot of crazy shit happening in that one

Well sure but I’m looking at it in more of a game sense. Like how the game punishes you for killing Eito with horrible things happening to everyone, the game punishes you for “killing” Eva even though Takumi didn’t even do it Kako just went in and did it. I suppose the player did think they were going to when they made that decision
