Close but no cigar
The numinous and self-luminous pure Awareness dwelling within each of our minds is not a fragmentation of God, but is God’s own Being and Awareness fully present in Its totality without any division, fragmentation or separation, It being present within the minds of all living beings equally without Itself being divided in any way. It doesnt have to separate itself in order to illuminate the minds of living beings simultaneously just as the sun remains undivided while illuminating countless objects simultaneously.
Indeed, free will is not our own but it belongs to the mind/intellect, and our true identity is not the mind or body but is solely this pristine unconditioned Awareness that inhabits all minds as it were. Mind itself is unconscious which is why it manifests as another changing phenomena within the span or space of immutable self-knowing awareness. So-called ‘free will’ is just another pattern exhibited by this unconscious object manifesting within the span of God’s Awareness, which itself does not struggle and is instead always effortlessly present within the complete freedom and bliss of Its own bliss and plenitude.
People mistakenly take their identity to be the mind and body and to wrongly attribute properties (like free will) of these unconscious objects to themselves through a process of confusion or mental error whereby the properties of God and the mind are mutually superimposed onto each other.
All these minds and their experiences and will are manifested by God effortlessly, like the sun emitting light in every direction. God is the All or the metaphysical Infinite that is without a second, and all possibilities of manifestation are contained within God’s All. From the perspective of manifestation or illusion these seem to be arising and falling, coming together and dissipating, but from God’s perspective (not subject to the condition of time) nothing ever manifests or happens and all there is in truth is God abiding in His freedom, fullness and complete non-duality without deviation, a vast and unshakable fullness that is the all-complete Reality.
The greatest irony and the greatest secret is that at every moment, even when the mind is experiencing immense pain and suffering, we are at root and in actuality God Itself abiding in complete freedom, untouched and untainted by the vicissitudes of the mind and body of any creature, you just have to wake up and realize it in part through correcting the aforementioned error.
