It's by no means simple, but if you compare it to the Astra's mechanism it has fewer parts in what seems to be a more robust configuration, and the Astra Twintop's youtube search suggestions are mostly about the roof being broken or the boot not opening lol. Meanwhile the Mégane has its rear window regulators as its only suggested problem.
