/pol/ has been astroturfed between 2018 and 2020 with US-EU propaganda about “Confucius Institute being China's soft power arm”. It's been a while since I've last seen someone posting those talking points outside an obvious Eglin shill thread. Back then, they used to complain about it “spreading pro-Chinese narratives on Taiwan and Tibet”, as if questioning the obvious Chinese nature of those places wasn't itself a Western intelligence operation to try and balkanize China. They started peddling this lie about “China pushing DEI” and “Russia supporting Antifa” right after the BLM riots in 2020, then the FBI went to Congress to lobby for the closing of the Confucius Institutes in the US. So, in one move, the US Intelligence Community propped up Biden with BLM riots and at the same time used the riots as an excuse to blame it on China and Russia. And mutts, of course, believed it all. Of course it's a butthurt belter flag echoing that narrative here, after all.
