That was a pvotal moment... for Aokiji. Akainu is the current honcho of the marines, meaning that, he's as responsible for their evey action post timeskip. He's the new Sengoku. It would go against basically all of his actions in the manga, all three fucking things he's actually done, instead of just stood around. I would be so mad if he ends up being redeemed because he looks thoughtful a couple times, I hated Ace, but you just don't forgive the man who killed him, called Whitebeard a coward (talk all the shit you want on him but at least he went and tried save his adoptive son which is more than can be said for Garp) and participated on such horrific acts for the WG.
