He doesn't need Xianyun, in fact his best team would be Bennet/Iansan/Citlali. As you usually need either Bennett or Iansan in other teams you just use escoffier or rosaria (with instructor set and favonius), which actually pull similar and more consistent numbers/rotations than Xianyun, all that while solving any energy recharge problems
