This is really petty but all my friend groups are nerds and I like playing some video games but they all play dnd and warhammer and spend loads of money on all their nerd hobbies and I kind of hate all of it, I like some of this stuff but I hate dnd specifically so much, the setting and the system, and it's what all of my friends do all the time, I hate consumer nerd hobbies and it legitimately makes it harder to spend time with my friends. I legit don't know anyone into farming or gardening. It's like if you're gay and liberal your only option is to move to a suburb and buy game to play inside while you eat salami on wonderbread. I know this is too cynical and I cannot be the only one who feels this but damn
