To this very day, has any game surpassed or even equaled the original Crash trilogy in making you feel like you're playing a classic cartoon? Cuphead, for all it's beauty, just doesn't have that toon feel.

I've been looking for years for games that feel like you're playing a cartoon (and are not specifically based on actual cartoons), and the only satisfactory answer has always been Crash. Are there any others I'm just not finding?
