Cerydra was called her light/last hope because she promised to give Hysilens what she desired: a place where she belonged, surrounded by friends and loved ones. Hysilens was hesitating to kill Cerydra after the trial of law because she thought that Cerydra was her only way to get her banquet. In the end, Hysilens kills Cerydra in every previous loop because Cerydra convinces her to do it. In the end, Cerydra never understood what Hysilens wanted and gave her a sea where she is completely lonely. Further cementing how incredibly mismatched these two are.
