Some people view tattoos the same as shit smeared on a body. It triggered a raw primal disgust that is ingrained into some people similar to a fear of snakes, seeing maggots in a carcass, or two guys kissing. Get a tattoo and you'll have to deal with people like that your entire life. If you life in a place where it's more accepted, you'll run into less of them.
