Representative Democracy has turned into a form of brainwashing.

When you get in line to vote, when you try to get a candidate elected, you lose your capacity to think. Your brain gets flooded with high doses of neurotoxic copium.

You trust that the candidate has a plan. You begin to cope "I shook his hand once and he said he'll fix the country."
Once elected the candidate will, one by one, renege on his campaign promises, except for the shit you didn't want like sending billions of dollars and new weapons to Israel. You'll cope that he's got a plan to drain the swamp. You'll cope that the jobs are coming back. You'll cope that the Epstein list will be released one he gets around to it. You'll cope that they'll ban mRNA vaccines.

The biggest cope of all is that it was still possible to Make America Great Again. Once you believe that you'll believe anything.
