Yeah, Mexico (and the cartels) don't really stand a chance against an actual military. I'm not going to say the US military is totally invincible, but it's total saber-rattling from Mexico. Cartels aren't much of a guerrilla warfare threat, and honestly at this point they're more likely to be one of the countries that would accept Americans as liberators in the world.
