>UNDISPUTABLE FACT
Flame Plate and Earth Plate explain the origin of their power pokemon universe as having started with a cosmic egg, and that the plates themselves of every type come from "defeated giants."
From this we know IN CANON FOR A FACT that Arceus was born from the cosmic egg and that the cosmic egg's shell became the giants(PLURAL) that according to the plates, Arceus defeated.

>Alignment with beta elements
There are many beta "origin" stories but only one actually aligns with this specifically. This is pmyth5.2 "AUSU" which even has authors notes unlike any of the other documents explaining things.
Every other beta myth can't possibly be true because they don't align with the plates statements of Giants(PLURAL) nor do they explain why the Giants attack (Jungian Fear of Existence)

Then we go into the actual etymology document for the creation of each pokemon explaining their name, their pokemon type, and why the creators decided to name it that way.
Regigigas is referred to as the "Giant (Giant people) pokemon in the etymology document designating not giant by adjective, but giant as a defining characteristic in the Japanese language. This reference to "Giants" the same one used in the plates and in the pmyth5.2 with its asterisk notes.

So there is merit to convey that Regigigas is a giant as the convention of referencing "Giant Race" is clear. Made even more clear when pokemon that literally have "giant" as their gimmick are referred to as other things (Eternatus in Japanese is the "Dynamax pokemon")

Its from that linguistic jumping off point that many japanese fans including gngmrkas who has been making Regignosis art for over a decade have sourced where Regigigas and the "Legendary giants" have fit into that picture.

Aligning the power Regigigas has, the pun of curse/slow start, the lack of a normal plate until LA, Regigigas reacting to the plates unlike any other pokemon. The fact he is remaking "Giants"
