Well the company can only train people so much. At a certain point it's the ride ops job to actually implement that training and assume that responsibility. The company will be held responsible but whatever wagie didn't bother to make sure the wheelchair guy was fully locked in is a fucking retard. We dont need these yearly reminders that amusement park rides operate with lethal force and if the safety procedures aren't observed tragedy is inevitable. It may be a cute summer job people do in college, but it's literally life or death. If you aren't willing to assume that responsibility just go work at Dairy Queen.
