Retail shops are fucking scraps in the grand scheme of things. The gold retail market is pennies compared to what central banks are doing and their appetite for reserves is ENDLESS. Every country outside of the US hegemony's SWIFT system is exiting dollars and buying gold pretty much regardless of price. As long as the Shanghai exchange prices are above London's, the drain will continue and gold will continue to rise.
