Are you guys implying that Starfied terrain is too flat? At least what I usually get is bumpy terrain. If you're talking about hills and valleys those exist too, not on every mao but they do spawn. .
Like right now I am on Codos, a moon of Akila, and my car is bumping and jumping every 3 meters due to the terrain.
Sometimes, I wish they added a hovercraft or small helicopter instead.
Actual flat terrain, like on Earth's deserts is very rare, at least I never saw that in SF.

I suppose that might be true, I didn't pay attention to that.

there are these natural rock formations or weird vegetation which look good on their own, they looked good in the concept art, but in-game, on a map you have 95% Earth-like vegetation/landscape with only 5% actual alien-looking elements in small patches of land.
Also pic related, those things should cover the maps as far as the eye could see. In game I only see these scattered in very few point. with a lost of normal vegetation in between.
It makes the landscape look less alien and awe-inspiring than it should. It would have been better if these covered larger areas, instead of being small and lonely. It probably wouldn't even be too hard to fix, they already have the assets.
I wish they changed this and not let it for modders.
