This was his exact logic. Yes, 00's take the same art resources, but his logic was also that as a gacha, the lower rarity unit MUST be worse because if it's better than a 000 it would feel "bad". Unfortunately this ignores the brutal truth is there are some REALLY shitty 000's early in the game are complete garbage and you'd probably even prefer Yuri Faust over them in the majority of scenarios even today. The thing is, you can still accidentally roll those.

It was a completely self-afflicted issue because "it feels bad if they're good". Lets ignore the fact that any newfag is going to get completely fucked if they roll a 000 N Meursault in 2025 and think he's good.
But yeah if they're going to submit themselves to that sort of thinking, then whatever since 00's costed the same amount of spriting/art resources.
