My tip is to google the what the runes say on the walls unless you want to waste time translating it yourself using the green tablets or unless you want to waste thousands of hours running around the map. If you want to waste even less time, just check the wiki little by little every time you find something. Look up what the pyramid is and what it does. Look up what the green tablets are. I also highly recommend getting the teleport bolt spell and the black hole spell.
