No, I'm saying it's irrelevant to this thread. Anime was censored in the past, and it's censored now. The target of the censorship doesn't matter (sex vs violence) and you should dislike both forms of censorship equally if you were honest. But you're not, and you're putting sex censorship as being worse than violence censorship because you're butthurt at the US.

Any time the US comes up too it's clear it's not as straightforward as people think because the US has been an influence on Japan since the end of WWII and yet people are only ever talking about the last 20 years, if that. All of the "uncensored" anime you put on a pedestal was made while under Japan's influence from the US. Maybe you should thank the US for anime existing in its current form if you want to believe the US has wielded its influence over Japan with an iron fist after WWII.
