What the fuck is this headcanon? The law of balance EXPLICITLY works as described in the VN, that's why Hikaru saw Kageaki's final act of seppuku as a declaration of love.
Her "law of might" is a state of mind achieved through mido wherein she views no other human being as friend or foe, thus avoiding the activation of the law of balance.
Do you seriously believe that Kageaki's monologues throughout the entire VN as well as Muramasa's explanation of the law are unreliable narration?
