It isn't a trend at all, all the studies which purport that adult-child sex is linked with harm either use unrepresentative psychiatric and criminal samples, don't control for whether the relationships were consensual, or don't use proper statistical controls, usually all three, but in particular the first two. This is because the pseudoscientists who publish these papers presuppose that these relationships are harmful, and therefore believe they don't need to account for these factors. Find me a single study which doesn't make these mistakes which comes to your conclusion, you can't because it doesn't exist.
