My bad for the late reply, just got off work. I'm using a 6'6 rod with a hook size just smaller than my ring fingernail, but slightly larger than my pinky fingernail. I live in NJ, so I've been fishing outta the Passaic River mostly, I almost caught a catfish once with some cheese-filled hotdogs I bought. Got nibbles, but no bites.
