A lot of folk who makes themselves spokespeople for anti-bullying are the lamest and most paper-thin people on the planet. Obsessed with taking the high road at all times, going above and beyond the be patient and milquetoast with their speech, trying to convince the world that they aren't effected by the mean things people say to them.
It's funny because you can always tell that it gets to these people, that beneath their practiced face of confidence and self-assuredness they are still the scared little kid at school who was afraid to show up to class. They never grow out of it and it literally defines their lives. It is one of the worst 'bullied at school' archetypes because there are those who turn it into genuine kindness for others and allow the experience to build resilience and character. Folks like the little dude they made fun of are at the other end of that spectrum.
