here's a rare one. some jews interpreted RIF as 'reines jüdische fett'. can't have been german jews. big difference between I and J. RIF means 'reichsstelle für industrielle fette und waschmittel'. the legend is still maintained in jew press though and 'documented' accordingly, even though ambiguously. as here:
