I can only speculate if it is intentional but I think it is a byproduct of they just don't have enough screentime in general. Quite a few episodes ago I pointed out that the flow of Introduction > Intrigue > Development > Conflict > Escalation > Climax is all fucked up. I'm really glad that the Demon Sisters are more front-facing, in the original show they were definitely my favorite of the duos, but with them now involved with the rest of the cast starting at Introduction things are just incredibly crowded. The scenes have no room for any actual intrigue or development as they jump practically immediately to Conflict with the Anarchy Sisters starting off more or less fighting with the Demon Sisters, with every character cramming their lines and exposition in as quickly as possible so they can get to the next scene. The short-form episodes exacerbate this, and while episode 6 had the whole runtime dedicated to it it the pacing was still really fast. I'm worried about what a half-segment episode is going to look like where by the five minute mark we'll be dealing with Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt and Scanty & Kneesocks and Polyester & Polyurethane and Brief and Gunslinger Bitch and Super Gai Jin. It will probably all blend from start to end into a (still fun and spectacular) wall of noise.
