>“Look around you, this land is as strange as they come. “If you fight Elric again, a word of advice. Instead of killing him, try and break his sword. The boy did nothing wrong. He deserves to be freed from that monster’s clutches.”
Arios bristles. There was no doubt about it. The man hated you. But he also had his honor. And deep down, he knew you were telling the truth. The circumstances behind Elric’s sudden strength and personality shift were so strange that even he could not dismiss your claims entirely. Finally, after some thinking, the Thunderstrike relents.
“Very well.” Arios says. “Just to be on the safe side, I will shatter his sword. Should I find that he is still the same though, I will not hesitate to slay him there.”
>“Good. I’m glad we’re on the same page.” You sigh.
“If what you’re saying is true, how could you be so careless?” Arios bristles. Of course he couldn't keep things nice for long. “You let your compatriot wield a cursed sword?”
>“Hey, I didn’t know it was cursed! And I wasn’t even the one that gave it to him!”
“Of course not. How could you ever? And now I’m the one that’s left to clean up your mess. I’ll do my best to spare that boy’s life, but don’t think this makes us friends. Mark my words, we WILL settle our score before this is all over.”
>“Fine, whatever.” You shrug. “For the record, I’m perfectly content to fight you whenever you like. And I don’t even need some ridiculous grudge to do so. I’ll fight you simply because I like fighting the strong. That’s it.”
“Ridiculous?” Arios’s eyes bulge in anger. “You beast! I was only five years old, reduced to hiding in a closet, while I watched your father and his dogs butcher everyone I knew! My father! My mother! The castle’s servants! Countless citizens of Charon! All murdered by Rex d’Rusalka and his Hellwings! Your vile father may have gotten what he deserved at the hands of his sister, but I can see the apple does not fall far from the tree. His blood runs in your veins, and I will ensure that his lineage is put to an end before it can harm any further innocents!"
>A): Watch your mouth. No one insults my father in my presence.
>B): I’m sorry for what you went through.
>C): I’ll look forward to our fight.
>D): Write-in
