Soldier F Trial Update
>QRD?
"Soldier F" is a British Soldier who fought in the Troubles in Northern Ireland. Today, he is in court in Belfast facing multiple murder charges-brought forward by an IRA linked Law Firm.

If convicted, he will probably die in prison-he's in his 70s.

>How's it looking
Really too early in the day to tell, but most tend to agree he may be fucked. Narratives suggest the aim of the trial is to make him into a "bad apple" while protecting the image of the wider British Army.
>What if he gets off the hook?
Irish people and Left Wingers in Northern Ireland will go ballistic with seethe. There would be protests and probably a few riots, but the main impact would be massive pressure on the likes of Sinn Fein to pull down the government or carry out other political moves.
>What if he gets convicted?
There will be Loyalist riots for sure, and the campaign to convict more British veterans will move much faster.

>so...what's happened so far?
Day 1 done. The Trial heard statements from witnesses of Bloody Sunday, and much commotion was made about how this trial is about F, not the Army or Bloody Sunday itself.
