There is a difference between being fit and good looking and turning yourself in a cartoonish roid troon. Maybe 10 or so years ago people weren't well informed enough about steroid users and legitimately though people could look like the rock and bautista with enough training, but now they know anybody who looks like that are just insecure dicklets blasting gear. Women want men with superior features that come from good genetics, whether that be physical traits such as being tall and well built, or mental and emotional attributes that lend to personal success and financial stability. This is their entire job as the female sex. When a woman sees a man who is obviously on steroids she doesn't see a strong powerful male, she sees an insecure man who's compensating for that fact by using a shortcut to imitate what HE thinks is the ideal body for the female gaze. That is really the root of the problem. We as men confuse what we think is appealing for ourselves and other men as something that is appealing for women.
