You know I like how one of Shamirs likes is is gambling and one of her dislikes is spiders/centipedes but she doesn't become some anime quirk character where her every other sentence is referencing it. She's not got some corny crit quotes talking about flipping coins or saying "EEK AN INSECT" in her supports. Even in Heroes which tends to flanderize characters she's not going around saying shit like "We mustn't get lost"

I have to wonder if being a mercenary and taking on jobs she has no investment in or potentially finding disagreeable weighs on her conscious. Maybe part of the reason she felt like she never belonged is because she was doing jobs for nobles and their petty squabbles.
