There are no scraps.
The parasites just delude themselves with any headcanon they/them can rationalize to they/theirselves.
All the Hoyo games are straight games where all the girls are For (You).
And just like in anime, even if the girls fool around with each other like HI3 does I guess, they're just For (You) As A Threesome.
If the player character is a girl, that doesn't matter because the player is a male, the girls are still For (You) and your interactions are still straight because the avatar is still an extension of your male presence.
There is no "representation", this is simply how this genre works for its target audience of straight men.
