Boomers always thought bigger is better. Muh 45 aarp for auto loaders and they thought anything less than 38 special was useless.

Thankfully we have found out that 9mm is quite good and that 32 is a much better round for snubbies.

S&W has 3 different models of the 32 revolver now. A 432/632 UC, both with a titanium cylinder and now a cheaper model without rear sights.

32 is sublime, whether revolver or auto.

It's a step up from 22, and feels like it hits the low end of the "good enough" category. I carry either a p32 or a 32 mag J frame 95 percent of the time. Small guns go very well with small calibers. The p32 shoots better and holds more ammo than an LCP, and the 32 mag J frame is so much more fun to shoot than a 38 model.

The only two worthy sub 20 oz belt carry guns I would consider is the BG 2.0 or a 32 snub, just depends on your preference. The BG can shoot faster and hold more rounds, but requires a holster to be safe and a perfect grip to fire. The snub doesn't need a holster to be safe, will fire regardless of your grip, but is slow and only holds a few rounds.

The versatility, safety, comfort and reliability of the snub won out for me, and there is no better cartridge suited for a small revolver than 32.
