Retarded gaymers and developers will never learn.
All these shit new games have built in cheats in the form of aim assist and a myriad of casual game mechanics anyway.
imagine just giving server binaries and letting the hobbyists host their own servers and police themselves and they get to ban hackers instantly after responsible demo reviews and spectatorship like in the olden days
>BUT MUH CORRUPT POWER TRIPPING SERVER ADMINS
congrats now theres only one fucking corrupt corporate admin who doesnt even play the game with one set of rules and theres no fucking escape at all and cheaters take days, weeks, months to get banned (if at all). you played yourself
Community servers is the only anticheat that has ever worked and will ever work, at least until they do away with every pretense of privacy and are able to dispatch enforcers to your real life physical location. We all know we are ruled over by machinations of inhuman [REDACTED] so the next step is naturally to do something like requiring cameras pointing at your battlestation and over your shoulder at the screen being monitored by AI in tandem with your wifi and local 5g tower monitoring your household EMF, real time 3d mapping, and personal device geography. (It's real)
AAA publishers will do literally ANYTHING but give up a smidgen of power and perceived profitability. And you /v/ermin will take it lying down.
Large system game franchises like Battlefield by publishers such as EA are OVER, there's not going back. This is the future gaymers chose. And the EA SPORTZ gacha will continue to pay for these monumental failures one after the other until morale improves
