correct, neither you or any man will ever have exhaustive material evidence for the immaterial

we will never have a complete, exclusively naturalistic explaination of the supernatural (supra naturalis = above nature)

i used to get hung up on this idea (among others) years ago myself. i was an athiest for 20+ years.

for me personally, it was evidence found in nature (somewhat ironically) that convinced me to investigate the Bible further with an open mind. biological complexity, geology, cosmology, that kept screaming at me "these are staggeringly complex integrated/designed systems - they are not from time/chance" that helped me establish that first drop of faith or hope that allowed me to give those ridiculous Christians/creationist an actual chance. to listen to them.

i've already written too much, but long story short, ultimately, i found Christianity & the Biblical narrative to be the most cohesive world view. it contains the most explanitory power to describe, explain, and even predict the world and universe i find myself inhabiting.

i'll never understand ALL the aspects of God & just what every strategy is in His ultimate plan.

but if i could, i wouldn't worship Him.
