RimPy is honestly better in every conceivable way, but the issue is its so old, all of its databases are fucked so it struggles with large modlists on newer version. Also its texture upscaler is slow as fuck. That being said though, be VERY, VERY CAREFUL with RimSort. That stupid fucking mod manager has burned me more times than I can count. The SECOND weekend I spend "bug fixing" my list was actually me running file recovery when RimSort DELETED ALL MY STUFF.
Anyway, I'd just manage mods via SteamCMD, reinstall everything (you can mass convert mods to SteamCMD and mass reinstall with RimSort). Make sure to switch to Alphabetical sorting in the settings. Topological is on by default. Topological does not work. Why is it the default setting? God only knows.
