And here are the double decker hoppers. I've got one more in the vise and I'm planning on making one more after that. But my UV light needed to be recharged, it wasn't curing the resin as quickly or thoroughly as it should. So...break time!

I like this hopper pattern. I think the most difficult part is making the segmented tail. The first couple segments are easy enough. But the last couple require switching the bobbin to the other hand to tie them in behind the hook. Not too difficult, but takes some concentration. Everything else I've done before more or less. They look pretty buggy to me! And it's the perfect time of year for them!

I'm subbing UV resin for supper glue again. This time I'm using flow, as I'm just adding it to the thread of the under body as a final step to add durability to the thread.
