Here, some good closed back headphones. Open backs are recommended more often because they're more comfortable and are usually tuned better. Stax already made headphones "with holes" sixty years ago, it's not a new invention.

Not a single one of the cheap ones is good. There are decent wireless headphones but for gaming you need some that use 2.4 instead of Bluetooth so there's no delay. Only Audeze Maxwell has that and sounds decent but it's not low cost.

Sounds like chinkfiman, alright. My Edition XS did the same thing after a year. Shame since their oldest models are holding up pretty good. I'm guessing at some point they realized they don't need to spend money on QC since the average audiophool needs to consoom constantly so the low lifespan isn't a problem for those people.
