I'm 36 now, but it was around the 3rd Grade that I noticed I was...'different' from the other kids. This was further confirmed on Valentine's Day when one of the female students gave me a card (cost like 50 cents from Eckerd, and everyone had to give something to someone in the class; it was a 'class activity) and she made sure she wrote--in the best English she could write--that she didn't mean the sentiment printed on the card about actually liking me.
