Just to rant a little more, I worked with artists both good and bad, and regardless of quality I cant work with people who just cant fucking follow instructions. Like I worked with bad artists but even those bad artists were willing to follow instructions, and cause of that I was patient enough with them that I wouldnt mind shit coming late or not getting the best quality drawing the first time around as long as they were able to take my feedback and understand what I asked of them. I even had an artist who WANTED to change a design of a character cause they preferred their characters on the smol side and I would say something like "I understand but canonically this one isnt the smallest character, this other girl is so if her proportions are off then things will get thrown off" and then they would get it. And those artists were working for fucking free, but the ones that got paid suddenly had a fucking big ego(I was one of those fucks working for free too btw so I got double pissed at that fucking artist, fucking dumbass)
