I have spent the last three hours trying to wipe an old laptop with an HDD so I can finally toss this fucking piece of shit and nothing is working. It’s such a brick that isn’t even operational enough to do a factory reset without freezing. Refuses to boot from an external drive so no DBAN, the fucking screws are stripped so I can’t take the drive out even trying to open command prompt just freezes the computer. I literally just don’t want my old tax forms sitting in a landfill. I’m losing my will to live
