The first beast is the multicultural liberal world order, the second beast from the earth is islam because it has the appearance of a lamb but speaks like a dragon i.e. it presents itself as peaceful and akin to Christianity but is violent and advocates for power. It exercises the authority of the first beast because islam uses multiculturalism and joins with liberalism to gain power. The first beast was wounded and yet lived because the liberal world order was existentially threatened in World War 2 by fascism/Hitler but survived and became stronger. Islam makes people worship this first beast through appealing to islamophobia and controlling people's thoughts and actions (heads and hands).
