People who have never actually read Fujimoto might think we're undergoing the buildup of a great confrontation, which means the next Arc, or even couple of Arcs will be the buildup towards it.
Of course, those people think they're reading Naruto, or One Piece, but the Chainsaw Man Part 2 reader knows that Fujimoto won't draw fights no matter what.
So what will happen is a lot of offscreen conflict, followed by the confrontation of a few characters, less than half a dozen, where they'll mainly talk to each other and then someone will get one shot through an asspull.
We're walking towards the final anticlimax of a story structured to be as anticlimactic as possible.
