Honestly, the concept of alcohol has always been pretty offputting to me.
Drinking to "feel a buzz" or whatever never seemed appealing over the trade off being drunk and effectively no longer being in full control of your senses and actions, and potentially doing something that ruins my life or friendships is fucking terrifying.
I get regularly grilled by friends and family alike for being an adult who avoids alcohol not out of some religious obligation or principle, but fear.
I can't be the only one, right?
