Yeah, I don't really give a shit, but I think it was a stupid move the way they announced it.
If they're going text-only, the background needs a decorative border and a return of the brown lettering. Adding white would be fresher.
The interior they want is a Magnolia-style country chic design, which I get. The color scheme being brighter and the interior being less cluttered would be good for the workers (they gotta dust all the kitsch).
Problem is, they're not updating the menu to match. They need to add some kitschy fluff back in and let people know they're the same, but fresher by marketing something classic like the biscuits. Remind folks their brand is the same. They're not gonna bring in new folks by tossing away the old crowd. Still the same great food, fresh and classic. Light and fluffy, freshly baked biscuits. Still a place for you and your family.
The ideas aren't BAD, but the way they rolled them out was tone-deaf on a Bud Light scale.
