Having a backbone in a corporate environment keeps getting me in trouble and I'm starting to think that all jobs are this weird Machiavellian setting. The job itself is never the issue, it's the insecure management or jealous coworkers or some random shit that makes me dread work at every place I've been to. I've had multiple jobs - it's all the same. Also I'm pretty nice and easy to work with / good at what I do so it's always surprising.

Is America too fucked of a place to start a family? Will future generations have better opportunities elsewhere i.e Scandinavia, etc?
